When Will and Tori reached out to me to document their engagement, I could tell they both knew exactly what they wanted – to embrace home. For them, a physical and structural home has looked like several different places over the last few years; but in spite of and because of the distance, they’ve found that home isn’t a physical location at all. Home truly lies with the other – in love, in family, in relationship. Will found home on the family farm and upon their marriage in the Spring, Tori will move to join him there. To see the pride, excitement, and pure contentment in Tori’s eyes as she talked about the farm and all Will does to help run the family business, I knew that there was no better place to celebrate their engagement than the place that would soon provide them both a physical home together. I adore these two and everything they encompass as a couple. My heart craved to create images for them that could somehow measure up to the transparent and beautiful love they share. Seriously, these two couldn’t be more down to earth if they tried.  I so have a thing for sincere and genuine people; my heart strings get all tangled up.

On a side note, golden hour has had nothing on these Fall sunsets lately. I am in awe, daily.

I love that they wanted to visit and include The Square in their small town to exemplify this new season of life.
