Emily is filled with so much joy and it was inspiring as I spent the afternoon watching that joy pour out of her while I talked with her about dancing and laughing through her session to really bring her personality through in her images. To me, portraits are so much more than images taken at a time in life, but more so about a time in life. I want for Emily to be able to look back at these senior portraits and really feel strong and beautiful, and to know that this season in her life is about growth and stepping into that place as a young woman; but that that’s all it is… a season, and it passes all too quickly. I think these images really portray the strength and beauty that Emily encompasses so well.
